Holly is a forward/attacking winger who has committed to @spscc in Olympia, WA! She will join the @clipperwomenssoccer program in August of this year, where she plans to take her football to the next level! ⚽️

SURF CUP: Holly also talks about the Surf Cup trip she went on with us, last year playing soccer against other girls from across the U.S.! Holly said, this trip ultimately led her to decide that the U.S. was the right path for her! 🌊

Holly, talks about her excitement of joining @spsccathletics and her eagerness to head over to the US. She says, “having the opportunity to study in the USA and to continue to play football is a challenge that I am looking forward to. Being exposed to a new country and its people and culture is something that excites me!”🇺🇸

This talented young footballer from Nelson Bay, NSW, will be heading off to the U.S. in August of 2027 to study and play college Soccer. 📚

James is a dedicated young goalkeeper, currently in grade 11 at Catherine McCauley Catholic College! He is eager to get to the U.S. and start his college journey!⚽️

James says, “what excites me most about playing in college in the USA is how I’ll be able to play the sport I love abroad, where I want to challenge my dreams.”💫

James is not only a talented footballer, but is also a very dedicated student who plans to study business over in the U.S.🎓

The U.S. provides an amazing pathway for both these opportunities and we can’t wait to see where this career path takes him!

The hip hop dance routine won the @reiverdanceteam their championship title across several divisions including NCAA D1 and D2, NJCAA, and NAIA, with Iowa Western being the only Junior College (JUCO) amongst their competitors!! 📈

In these interviews, we talk with past, current and future student-athletes about anything and everything college-related!! We’ll give the inside scoop into our athletes and what goes on in the U.S. with first-hand experiences from us and our student-athletes!!

Our very first student-athlete taking part in our first episode is @ava.chumbley who is currently studying at @collegeofsouthernidaho and is a dedicated student-athlete for the Golden Eagles! She’s a member of the women’s soccer program @csi_soccer at the NJCAA D1 level and has started in January of this year!

Ava is currently studying for her undergraduate in Physical Education and hopes to continue it further, in the States! Ava signed with us in June last year, and with a quick turn around she was offered a scholarship to CSI in September and has been living in Twin Falls, Idaho since January, this year!

It’s been a massive change of scenery for you, Ava but we’re so excited to watch you thrive and enjoy your time in the States!! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish over the course of your college career!

We would like to give a massive shoutout to Sunshine Coast Footballer @georgewalker.06 on committing to Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon.

The talented midfielder will be making the trek abroad in August this year to begin his college career. The Lane Titans men's soccer program had a successful 2024 season with a record of 8-5-2. The team finished 2nd in the NWAC Southern Region and unfortunately lost in the regional playoffs. The addition of George, and a number of other talented internationals, for the 2025 season will certainly increase the squads chances of going deeper into the playoffs.

Throughout the season George will get the opportunity to travel through his new home state of Oregon, but also California, Washington, and Idaho. After two seasons at Lane we will help George move on for his final two years. He is wanting to study Sport and Exercise Science once in College and graduated from Sunshine Beach State High School

We look forward to sharing more stories of George's success once he is in the States.

Holly, from Goulburn, NSW will be heading off in August of 2025 to begin her college career in Olympia, Washington where she will be working towards an undergraduate degree whilst representing the women's soccer program.

SPSCC is located just outside of Seattle and is also close to Portland and Vancouver. An awesome part of the US that Holly will no doubt be exploring throughout her Soccer season and in her spare time. The Clippers women's Soccer team had a tough 2024 season but with the addition of Holly and other international recruits in 2025 they will be pushing for some better results.

Huge congratulations to GRF distance runner @mc.lovett (Mali Lovett) who has recently committed to Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.

Mali is from Adelaide, South Australia and recently graduated from @sportscollegesa . She will be departing in August of this year and is excited to take her studies and sport overseas. Mali had a fantastic 2024 season having competed at the State and National championships. She is now ready to compete in the College system.

Over the years Hutchinson Community College has had a number of national champions and talented athletes come through the program. Mali will be the only Australian on the roster but she will be teammates with a number of other internationals from Costa Rica, Jamaica, Columbia, Grenada and more.

Once in the US she is thinking of pursuing a degree in either Dietetics, Nutrition, or Sports Management.

We are super excited to follow Mali's journey in the US.

Jacob will be heading off to the US in August of this year to study and play College Basketball. The 6 foot 2 Point Guard from Melbourne is excited for the journey ahead and says that "I want to see how much I can improve as a player and as a person by facing new challenges and learning from experienced coaches and teammates. One of my main goals is to develop my game and see how far I can go in Basketball"

It will be a quick turn around for Jacob, and we are sure there will be a commitment story coming sometime in the very near future. Jacob is looking to stay involved with sport in the classroom as well as he is looking to pursue an education in Sport and Exercise Science or Sports Management whilst in the US.

Harry hails from Toowoomba, QLD and will be heading off to begin his freshman year in August this year. The Pratt CC Beavers men's soccer program had a solid 2024 season with a record of 6-8-1. The Beaver's had no issue scoring goals, averaging nearly 3 goals per game, but will be looking to strengthen their defence with the addition of Harry.

The Beaver's have a largely international roster with boys from Spain, Brazil, England, Scotland, Poland, Ecuador, Uruguay all competing for first team positions, and now they have an Aussie. They compete in one of the stronger conferences in the NJCAA Division 2.

Pratt CC is located in the Midwest of the US and only a couple of hours outside of Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and a few hours from Denver, all places Harry will get to travel during his athletic season to compete.

Harry graduated from @toowoombagrammar and is looking to study towards an undergraduate degree in Psychology once in the US.
